ENGLAND: A camper enjoys a fire under the Tensile. WELCOME to the tent in the trees that you can string up as high as you want. Invented by British-based entrepreneurs, this cross between a tent and a tree-house will give you sleep you’ve been dreaming of this summer – no matter how uninviting the ground looks. The £470 Tensile sleeps up to four people and can in theory be strung from any height, although the manufacturers don’t recommend more than five-feet. Tensile founder Kirk Kirchev (39) from London explained how handy and fun the portable treehouses are.
