A German ceremonial punch bowl, circa 1900. Copper and brass. There is an eagle with outspread wings (bullet hole) on the lid. Lid bears relief electro-plating, bent. Gilded brass bowl, worn, with a surrounding silver-plated copper band, heavily worn, showing an obstacle race in relief. The base is lavishly decorated with trophies in relief. Interior glass vessel and sheet zinc, cooling insert. Height 52 cm. Diameter 54 cm.
