This towering monstrosity is The Rocket, which allows you to either to be "blasted" into space or "re-enter" the atmosphere.
On The Rocket at Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, Utah USA you can choose to blast off or go the re-entry route. Either one is loads of fun. Just decide whether you'd rather be dropped from the top or blasted skyward, then choose your tower. After dark it glows an alien bluish green color. Someone is being rocketed right now. Notice the yellow blur in the middle? This amusement park night image was made into an art piece via Photoshop CS2's artistic "smudge stick" filter. Would make a nice wall art piece
