Business the past week was very satisfactory in the plant line but very quiet in the cut flower business with the exception of Mothers' day, which was better by far than last year. In fact, it exceeded all expectations and white carnations were cleaned up lone before the day was half over. Col- ored flowers were more in demand also than last year. The outlook for Me- morial day is gloomy, with light frost every night. Peonies and other out- door flowers are likely to be late. However, warm weather in the mean- time with an occasional shower may put things in fine shape. CLUB MEETING. The Tri-City Florists' Club met in regular session at the home of Wm. Kn
