EAST FORK OF CARSON RIVER NEAR GARDNERVILLE, NEV. This station, which was established October 17,1900, at Rodenbahsranch, about 5 miles southeast of Gardnerville, proved unsatisfactory,and on March 27, 1908, a new station was established at a placeknown as Horseshoe Bend, about 9 miles south of Gardnerville and3 miles above the old station. This point is below all tributaries and 122 SURFACE WATER SUPPLY, 1907-8. above all diversions. Measuring conditions are favorable, the sectionis permanent; and results are good.
