Visitors take a photo of the Temple with a photo of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. His Holiness the 3rd Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche is the founder of Namdroling Monastery (popularly known as 'the Golden Temple'). The mission of His Holiness was to uphold and preserve the teachings of the Gautam Buddha as a whole and the Nyingma tradition in particular through study, practice and activity. People from different countries come here to study Tibetan Buddhism.
