The attribution given on the photo [a typed label on photograph verso] was published in the catalog of the Hartford/Baltimore exhibition, "2000 Years of Tapestry Weaving" (1951-1952), cat. no. 93. The title is uncertain; since it is said that there is a companion piece representing "Autumn" in the Munich State Collection [Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen], this title might better be "Summer" than "Music" (Cavallo). The exhibition catalog cited above entitles the tapestry panel above as "Spring"; not "Summer". Also, the companion piece that is discussed (see ill. in Göbel) has a different border (Dimitrova).
