MALLAIG, SCOTLAND - 29TH OCTOBER 2007: Wind turbine parts are loaded onto the "Spanish John" landing craft in Mallaig harbour on Scotland's west coast before being transported to the island of Eigg 10 miles offshore. Once erected on Eigg, the four 6KW wind turbines will contribute significantly to the Hebredean island's new electricity system which is based on renewable energy. It will provide continuous 24 hours a day power for the island's 87 residents for the first time. The island has no electricity connection with the mainland. Photo by Mike Goldwater
