At present it contains between three andfour thousand volumes, and the yearly circulation is about nine library occupies rooms in the Town Hall, but better accommodations areneeded, both for the books and the people who use them, and the town hasunder consideration the proposition to erect a library building in the near fu-ture. The library has a fund of three thousand dollars, the bequest of M. Beebe, and the town appropriates to it annually the dog- tax. Thetrustees are E. Pierson Beebe, Hon. Seba A. Holton, and Rev.
