Crowds donning green tunics, brown or green leggings or tights, brown belt, pointed hat and carrying a toy sword appear in Bournemouth to beat the current Guinness World Record of 280 Peter Pans. They are raising funds for the Steve Bernard Foundation with the Peter Pan fun run and sponsored walk between Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. It marks 10 years since the foundation was formed, following Steve’s death in a car crash when he was 18 – he dressed up as Peter Pan for a fun night out just before his tragic death.
