Supporters assembled in Redfern/Waterloo on the fourteenth anniversary of the death of Thomas ‘TJ’ Hickey. The death of the 17-year-old Aboriginal boy sparked the Redfern riots. Protesters blame the police for his death. They marched from the Waterloo public housing block where the incident happened to the NSW Parliament.
