A Washington press dispatch states that fifteen of theInterstate Commerce Commissions inspectors of railwaysafety appliances were presented to President Roosevelton Dec. 17 by Edward A. Mosely, secretary. The inspec-tors were in Washington in connection with an applica-tion for an extension of time for the adoption of thesafety appliances required by act of congress.
