Limas will not grow until the weather and ground are warm; if planted before they are apt to rot in the ground. EAELY LEVIATHAN LIMA. The earliest va- riety of pole lima; one week earlier than any other sort. Produces pods in clusters of 5 to 10 in a cluster. Of superior quality, immense size, vigorous and wonderfully productive. It will prove a boon to many growers especially in the north where seasons are short, where this delicious vegetable is denied to many on account of early frosts.
