Two people fishing from a jetty at Lake Dunstan, Cromwell, Central Otago. The lake was formed by the power station dam built on the Clutha River. The lake provides irrigation for orchards and vinyards as well as leisure opportunities for fishing, boating, rowing, waterskiing etc. The Lake Dunstan trail links the towns of Cromwell and Clyde. It provides a traffic free trail for hikers and cyclists following the lake's shore.
