Chogha Zanbil, ancient Elamite (Elamite: Dur Untash) complex in Khuzestan province of Iran, one of only few existant ziggurats outside of Mesopotamia. Chogha in Bakhtiari means "hill". Choga Zanbil means „basket mound“. The whole complex was built from mud bricks or occasionally baked bricks and was dedicated to Inshushinak (Insusinak), the bull-god of Susa.
