TOWSON, MARYLAND (April 24, 2015) Captain Brian O. Walden, left, congratulates Morgan Mackenzie Short, right, after her performance of "Danses sacrees et profanes" during an the evening Navy Band High School Concerto Competition Concert. Now in it’s 15th year, the United State Navy Band is has been proud to host and present the High School Concerto Competition. Encouraging young musicians is one of the Navy Band’s educational objectives and this annual program is an opportunity for talented high school age musicians to perform with the Band.
