The Old Toll Bridge across the River Adur - Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex.

The Old Toll Bridge at Shoreham-By-Sea crossing the River Adur was originally built under the Act of 1781 and was rebuilt to a similar design in 1916. It was used extensively up until the Shoreham flyover carrying the A27 was built upstream nearby. The bridge has just undergone extensive restoration. In the background on the slopes of the South Downs stands the Chapel at Lancing College which dominates the surrounding area.
