One of the main entrances of the surrounding five-kilometre city fortified walls is the Frauentor gate leading into the Handwerkerhof (Craftsmen's Yard) in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. Handwerkerhof is a small medieval village with the Frauentor tower, a former armoury. The village consists of arts & crafts and tourist souvenir shops and restaurants. It is one of Nuremberg’s many visitor attractions.
