Main square in the center of the village during the Christmas period, Macugnaga (Staffa - Pecetto) is a mountain resort located at 1327 m., in the Anzasca valley, province of Verbano Cusio Ossola, Piedmont. It is at the base of the spectacular east wall of Monte Rosa (4636 m), the only wall of the Alps with Himalayan features.
