Indigenous Shuar tribal indian children in the Amazon Jungle.

I met this brother and sister deep in the Amazon Jungle in southern Ecuador. The closes town would be Macas and to reach the area that these children live in, one needs a local guide who can navigate walking through the jungle. I was fortunate enough to meet a young lady from the Shuar tribe who was in the town of Macas and I convinced her to take me into the jungle to where her people live. I had been concerned about going into the jungle after a local guide in Puyo explained that it was dangerous to go in alone. "We've found the bodies of some tourists who went in by themselves," he told me. "Bodies," he said. "But no heads."
