Customers in the 1968 newly opened consumer department store on Bruehl in Richard-Wagner-Strasse in central Leipzig. At that time the largest department store in the GDR, popularly called 'tin can', because of the aluminum shell of the outer facade made in honeycomb patterns, which unfortunately heated up the house very much.
