It has, like most of the Pyralidce, a wide range, and fextends from the southern portions of the United States to the southern portions of South America. (3) Glyphodes hyalinata Linnaeus, Plate XLVII, Fig. ^9, Z . Syn. MarjfiHUill SiottI /uu-nin/is UiihaeT; Aya/mata/ii Gueait. The range of this species is very much the same as that of the last mentioned. (?) Glyphodes quadristigmalis Guenee.
