Smooth-coated Otter (Lutrogale perspicillata). Native to southern and SE Asia, India, China; small population may still exist in Iraq. Trained by fishermen in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Largest otter species in Asia. Vulnerable. See Gavin Maxwll, Ring of Bright Water 1960.
