A cased pair of percussion pistols, W & S Rooke in Birmingham, circa 1835. Octagonal barrels of browned twist Damascus with smooth bores in 15 mm calibre, and the inscription "London" inlaid in silver over the breeches. Finely engraved, colour case-hardened locks with cock safeties, the lock plates signed, "W & S Rooke". Walnut full stocks with blank silver escutcheons, and grips with fine chequering.
