(About two and a half times the average size of the species.)This restoration is based on my studies of the ventralappendages of Calymene senaria from 1875-1880, and pub-lished in 1881. The restoration of 1881 is taken as the baseand such changes made in it as the discoveries of anten-nules and long protopodites necessitate. Only a fragmentof an antennule has been seen, but with fine antennules ofNeolenus and Triarthrus for study I do not hesitate to putthem in the restoration of this species. Through the kind-ness of Dr. Alexander Agassiz I had the opportunity ofmaking a photograph of the original thin sections which Imade 1875-1880. Some of these are reproduced on plate 29.
