SASEBO, Japan (Mar. 11, 2019) Capt. Brad Stallings, commanding officer of Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS), speaks at a commemoration for the 2011 Great Tohoku Earthquake. This year marks the eighth anniversary of the disaster and CFAS honored the victims with a ceremony that was attended by members of the CFAS community. The earthquake and subsequent tsunami resulted in the deaths of 15,884 people across 20 prefectures.
