Its chief value is as a winter or early spring pasture crop and as a green manure. May be sown at any time from Mav to October. Per lb., 25 cents; 100 lbs., Treifoil. Medicago lupulina. On very light, dry, or poor ground this variety is valuable for a sheep pas-ture, and can be sown alone or with other Grasses. Per lb., 30 cents; 100 lbs., Orchard Grass.
