PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 19, 2016) Seaman Savannah Sturgis, from Seattle, and Ebubchi Achor, from Abuja, Nigeria, troubleshoot malfunctioning windshield wipers on the navigation bridge of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Sturgis and Achor manually operated the wipers to identify whether or not the malfunction was due to mechanical or electrical issues. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 5 flagship, is on patrol supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
