Edinburgh, Scotland. Sun 20 February 2022. Chamber pop band Modern Studies perform at the Edinburgh music shop Assai Records to promote the release of their latest album ‘We Are There’. Modern Studies at this show were Emily Scott (keyboard/vocals), Joe Smillie (drums/vocals) and Pete Harvey (bass). They are signed to the record label Fire Records and have previously released the albums Swell to Great (2016), Welcome Strangers (2018), Emergent Slow Arcs with Tommy Perman (2019) and The Weight of the Sun (2020).
