Robert Stewart of Galston, probably son of the above,witnessed a charter of Sir John Maxwell of Calderwood 16February 1486-87,^ and also an instrument of resignation byJohn Ohawmer of Gatgirth 26 May 1487. He died sometime before 10 March 1504-5, previous to which date hisson Alexander was served heir to him.^ He had a son. Alexander Stewart of Galston, who was served heir tohis father Robert some time before 10 March 1504-5. Hewitnessed a charter of the Earl of Lennox 27 March
