220930-N-DK042-1321 KUSHIRO PORT, Japan (Sept. 30, 2022) Sailors attached to the Naval Support Element from USNS Dahl (T-AKR 312) use mooring lines to conjoin two Improved Navy Lighterage System craft together in support of Operation Resolute Dragon 22, Sept. 30, 2022. Resolute Dragon 22 is an annual bilateral exercise between the Japan Self-Defense Force and the Marine Corps and Navy. The exercise is taking place across eight geographically-separated training areas throughout Japan with a focus on distributed operations, coastal defense, and integrated live-fire training.
