Niagara-on-the-Lakeis reached by way of Lewiston, taking observation trains, orother regular trains of the New York Central from Niagara Falls andboat from Lewiston. The trains of the Michigan Central, NiagaraDivision, also run to Niagara-on-the-Lake, as well as the steamersof the Niagara Navigation Company from The Day Line Steamers.—The journey up and downthe famous Hudson is undoubtedly the most interesting and pic-turesque inland voyage in the United States. Its attractions areperennially charming, and the point of view afforded by the palatialsteamers, New York and Albany of the Day Line, is anideal one. These magnificent boats, being designed for day ser-vice and tourist purposes only, carry no freight whatever savepersonal baggage of passengers. Thus the lower forward decksand other desirable points of view are open to passengers, and thefittings and accommodations of the craft throughout are sumptu-ous.
