GRIMOIRES - SEAL OF SOLOMON A magical design of the 16th century. Although entitled Seal of Solomon (Sigillum Salomonis), it is really a play on the number 4, with the names of the four archangels of space in the outer arcs of the figure (From the top, reading in a clockwise direction, these are Raphael, Uriel, Michael and Gabriel. Within the spaces of the internal cross, are the names of the four Evangelists: Marcus, Joannes, Lucas and Matheus.
