For shipping long distances the Paul Rose has no superior; they not only carry safely, but in such good condition that they readily bring much higher prices than other varieties. Its size and general appearance make it a splendid basket melon which will soon become a favorite with the market gardener, also jl for the private garden. Its beautiful dark green color and good keeping qualities are sure to make it a favorite with the market gardener, as well as for private use. It has all the good qualities of the White Spine, with the additional advantage of having a rich dark green color during the entire period of its growth, making it an evergreen cucumber. The vines are exceedingly productive, fruits set early and are very handsome, long and straight, entirely free from spines. In quality, fine, being very solid, cnsp, tender and of pleasing flavor.
