The bed is built in the most substantial manner, all working surfaces being planed and fitted and whole strongly braced. The feed consists of four rolls driven by heavy gear- Geared Side. The lower cylinder is provided with a spout and the upper cylinder can be hooded, to which are attach- ed pipes to take care of the dust and shavings. The chip breaker is made in four sections, each of which rises independently.
