American Red Cross nurses utilize an enhanced field laundry system at Evacuation Hospital #110 in Coincy, France, during World War One. The photograph, taken by Lt. Ruggles and received on September 12th, 1918, captures the nurses washing their clothing. It has been approved by the Censor on September 1st, 1918.
