Wendover, UK. 26th January, 2024. An HS2 worker flattening out a huge area of spoil on former farmland in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. Next week HS2 are closing Ellesborough Road for two weeks whilst they link a new temporary realigned road behind the existing houses. Not only is the construction work very traumatic for the residents who remain, but HS2 have also tragically destroyed and wired over numerous badger setts in the banks along Ellesborough Road.
