Mammoth Russian Sunflower. — Single heads measure twelve to twenty-one inches in diameter, and contain an immense amount of seed. It is the best egg producing focd known for poultry. There is nothing better than the Sun- flower seed for horses, etc., a gocd mess once a week will keep them sleek and in good order. 1 15c: 10 lbs , $; or by mail, 1 lb. for 25c. Dwarf Essex Rape.—In England and Germany this is the universally grown forage crop. Sown for pasturing lambs and sheep, and also for cows—no crop there equals it. Sow five to ten pounds per acre in spring or fall, broadcast or drill in damp lands, or drill in rich uplands. 1 lb., 20c: 5 lbs., 75c; or by mail, 1 lb. 30c; 4 lbs., $1 00. Japan Rice.—This has proven to be a fine variety of Rice for upland cul- ture. It is prolific, matures in 100 days from planting. Sown in March or ApriJ, it is harvested in July.
