The temple of Yeha in Tigray, museum, Ethiopia. Next to the ruins of Yeha several Christians live in simple stone houses. Coffee and religion are elements that must never be missed. Yeha is the oldest temple of the country, its construction dates between centuries VI and VII before Christ. It was raised during the sabaeana epoch, before the axumite, although not much is known about the civilization that built the temple. The most recent archaeological investigations have shown that Yeha was a large settlement, and in the excavations, still unfinished, different types of objects have been found, such as incense stoves, iron weapons and ceramic utensils.
