David Norris leaving court. David Norris and Gary Dobson appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court, Essex on charges of theft. The two men later pleaded guilty to stealing 14 beer kegs valued at £1,000. Each fined £100 with £60 costs. Norris and Dobson were named among the five suspects in the murder of Stephen Lawrence. The pair were both subsequently found guilty of Lawrence's murder. They were sentenced on 4 January 2012 to an equivalent of a life sentence for an adult, with minimum terms of 15 years and 2 months for Dobson and 14 years and 3 months for Norris.
