HARRY COOKE CUSHING (George WilliamDaniel Cooke^ Benjamin^ John^- Matthew^) w^as born inBaltimore, Md., 8 Nov., 1841. He married, 11 June, 1868,Martha Wetherill, daughter of Prof. Samuel W. and LouisaJ.(Williams) Budd. He died 2 July, 1902, and was interredin Arlington Cemetery, Washington, He left BrownUniversity at the close of his sophomore j^ear and enteredthe military service at the outbreak of the Civil War.
