A drab member of the Swallow and Martin family, the Rock Martin occurs in small flocks and pairs nest seperately from others. They often join larger flocks of mixed martins and Swallows to feed. Their nest is a cup shape made from pellets of mud plaster one at a time from beak-fulls gathered from pool and puddle edges
