He is an enthusiastic studentof the science and art of medicine and surgery, and possessesthe faculty of readily applying his knowledge to the relief of hispatients, literally enjoying a large practice. Like all well-informedphysicians, he has been a student in history and the natural sciencesand an observer as well. He has served Cuming County four yearsas Coroner, and the Village of Wisner several years as member ofthe Board of Education, being at present (1906) its moderator. Theirchildren are as follows, viz.: i. Charles Lewis Riley, born 21 May, 1888. He was graduated at the Wisner High School in May, Ivy Riley, b. 15 Sept., 1890. Is now in High Schoo
