Leaf mimic bush cricket (family Tettigoniidae) on a plant. This bush cricket has evolved to closely resemble the shape and colouration of the leaves of the plants on which it lives. This acts as a form of camouflage, helping the insect to hide from predators. Photographed at Tiputini Biodiversity Station in Quito, Ecuador.
