The Wiltshire Horn combines the strengths of an old established lowland breed with ease of management and the ability to meet the most stringent requirements of the modern sheep industry The breed has little or no wool reducing associated shepherding costs The fleece which has a broad fibre diameter is shed annually This has many management advantages particularly when wool prices are low.
