Mr. Macmillan,since he came to reside on the island, has made a study of its historyand antiquities, and has published a work on the subject of great valueto anyone desiring information on the subject.^ During our visit, Mr. Mac Braynes daily steamer from Oban landeda large party of tourists on the island. The facilities thus affordedbring lona within easy access of all.
