A variety of exceedingly dwarf and even growth; the tiny hushes, not over 4 to 5 inches high, are densely covered with bright blue flowers, a fine variety for edging 25 Cope's Pet. ALYSSUM (Mad Wort) Pretty little plants for beds, vases, baskets, edging or rock- work, blooming profusely all summer; useful also for winter flowering. Very sweetly scented. 1101 Little Gem, or Carpet of Snow. Of dwarf, compact habit, but 4 inches high. It begins to bloom when quite small, and the plants are a solid mass of white from spring to late in autumn, and undoubt- edly the best white-flowering edging plant in the list. (See cut.)
