180706-N-RE822-093 MINNEAPOLIS (July 6, 2018) Sailors assigned to Navy Operational Support Center Minneapolis and Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) conduct the dignified transfer of the remains of USS Oklahoma (BB-37) Sailor Seaman 1st Class Joseph Johnson. Johnson was killed aboard USS Oklahoma in Pearl Harbor during the Dec. 7, 1941 attack at the onset of World War II, and his remains were recently identified by DPAA through DNA testing and returned to Minnesota for burial in his hometown of Rushford.
