Bicing is the name of a community bicycle program in Barcelona inaugurated by the City Council in March 2007, It's purpose is to provide a pollution free method of transport to cover the small and medium daily routes within the city. Currently the network consists of more than 200 stations to lend and return the more than 3000 bikes distributed throughout the system.
