Rinchen Khandro, a Buddhist nun who lives at the Samye Ling monastery in south-west Scotland, pictured on her return to the monastery after completing a three year retreat on the Buddhist-owned Holy Island off Scotland's west coast. Rinchen, originally from Manchester, is a former film scriptwriter, fashion designer and ex-girlfriend of George Best. She has been a nun since the early 1990s and this was her first major retreat. Picture shows Rinchen on her arrival back at Samye Ling monastery.
